The Incas were a very large empire that lived in the Andes mountains for over a hundred years so how did the Incas fall? The answer is imperialism. Imperialism is where countries go and conquer other countries that are already inhabited to increase the growth of the mother country. Spain is the country that invaded Peru and wiped out the Incas with warfare and diseases that the Incas were not immune to.
The Incas had been the largst pre-hispanic empire in the Southern America when the spanish conquistadors discovered them in the 16th century AD. With the Inca empire being so enormous and vast, the conquistadors easily found the Incas in Peru and as soon as the conquistdors found out that the Incas had large amounts of gold in their objects and artifacts, they didnt last very long before the conquistadors wiped them out for their gold.
